Suggested Resources

Of course I suggest watching both of the musicals this month.

Not only will it make our live lessons more meaningful, but it will also give your children a huge insight into the events of the world at the time of each musical.

This is a great month to incorporate music and history!

Amazon Prime, YouTube, Disney+ - are just a few suggestions for streaming platforms.

There are four books in particular that are wonderful read alouds this month:

  • The Story of the Trapp Family Singers
  • V is for von Trapp
  • Riding the Rails to Home: A Newsie Rides the Orphan Train
  • The Journal of Finn Reardon
