Musical Era Bundle

This is my first year homeschooling my three kids (ages 6-9). I had no idea what to do for music lessons! This has been fun and easy to use, the kids love it and it introduces so many musical concepts and music we otherwise probably would not have talked about or discovered. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love the idea of this program. We have been through 3 lessons so far and my kids actually enjoy listening to the music and talking about what they hear. I would say that the composers selected for each era are a good representation and the music selected for each composer is well chosen. There is plenty of opportunity to research further, whether it be an instrument or composer with resource links. As much as I would have liked to see a little more 'meat' in the text of the curriculum vs links to research more, it does provide the opportunity to choose your own path so to speak. One con is that all the links take you to other sites via the same browser window, so be sure to select 'open in new tab' or else you will spend a lot of time opening your curriculum back up and finding your page again. I am using this curriculum for 4 kiddos and like the simple worksheets, especially the option to draw what they hear for the little ones. I do wish the layout and graphics were updated, but just a personal preference.

So far, I think it's a great curriculum! Very well written, clear, and concise!
